Job Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle pickup and delivery for customers.
  • Use OEM systems to coordinate and facilitate seamless customer vehicle pick-up and drop-off services.
  • Provide shuttle services to transport service and sales customers as needed.
  • Answer incoming service appointment calls and schedule appointments in the dealership management system.
  • Confirm service appointments and coordinate vehicle pick-up and delivery with customers in advance, using phone calls and/or text messaging.
  • Manage and coordinate the dealership loaner fleet, ensuring proper documentation and organization of rental forms.
  • Manage all customer vehicle rental forms.
  • Monitor and track the status of the dealership loaner fleet to maintain availability and readiness.
  • Organize and file service repair orders while ensuring accurate maintenance of service records.
  • Conduct follow-up calls with service customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback.
  • Assist with lot maintenance, including vehicle organization, fueling, washing, and other related tasks.
  • Retrieve and deliver parts for the parts and service departments.
  • Deliver sold vehicles to customers on behalf of the sales department.
  • Support the used car department with the transportation of vehicles, including pickups and drop-offs from Manheim auctions.
  • Be prepared to work outdoors in all kinds of weather—rain, snow, sunshine, or cold days—dress comfortably and appropriately (while maintaining a professional appearance) for the conditions
  • Complete all required dealership and OEM training programs.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by management to support dealership operations.

Other Basic Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks and a drug screening.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and climb in and out of vehicles throughout the workday.
  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proven background in providing excellent customer service.
  • Proficient with computers and smartphone applications, with strong organizational and follow-up abilities.
  • Able to read, understand, and follow instructions and information effectively.
  • Skilled at identifying and solving problems efficiently.
  • Previous dealership experience is a plus.
